The American Law Journal television program was honored with two Emmy® awards for episodes covering equal protection under the law, and workplace rights. The gala awards event was held September 24 at the Marriott in Philadelphia. This is a program excerpt of one of the winners; the full program is available on the ALJ YouTube channel.

 

Angela D. Giampolo

FOUNDER  

Prominently known as Philly Gay Lawyer, Angela Giampolo is an expert on LGBTQ+ legal issues and has been featured as a national leading expert on NPR, the Wall Street Journal, American News Radio, CBS, Fox News and several Sirius XM stations.

Angela also hosts the first LGBTQ+ specific radio segment for iHeardMedia's Philly Pride Radio called SpeakOUT and is the OUTLaw legal columnist for the Legal Intelligencer Philadelphia Business Journal, The Philadelphia Gay News and Curve Magazine, the only national magazine dedicated to lesbian issues.

“Philly Gay Lawyer” is the advocacy arm of Angela’s law firm, Giampolo Law Group which is based in the heart of the Gayborhood.  GLG is a boutique law firm whose mission is to change what people expect from their attorneys.
